 A two-story, three-by-five bay, wood-frame, gable-fronted former school building. Now sheathed with vinyl siding with an early twenty century enclosed two-story porch spanning the facade. Some original six-over-six light sash survives.

 

The Coeymans Academy was erected in 1858 by Fletcher Blaisdell, Theophilus Civill and Peter Seabridge. Although it served as a school for only a short period, the building was subsequently converted to residential use and survives as a reminder of the hamlet's early investment in public education.
