53. Cronk House
3-5 Westerlo Street

3 Westerlo Street is a two-story, five-by two bay, wood-frame
Federal style dwelling. The building is distinguished by
original twelve-over-eight light sash on the upper story of the
facade and later six-over-six light sash on the first-floor
level. Original wood clapboards, narrow corner boards, simple frieze
and a compound molded gable cornice survive
intact. 5 Westerlo Street is a two-story, gable-fronted, two-by-four bay
Greek Revival style wood-frame building constructed
with a trapezoidal footprint to match the early street grid of the
Landing. Original wood siding and broad cornice are now
obscured by early twentieth century asphalt siding. A decorative
triangular window dominates the upper gable of the
facade.
Numbers 3 and 5 Westerlo Street are connected by a late nineteenth
century single-story, wood-frame workshop building.
