A two and one-half story, wood-frame Stick style dwelling. The “T” plan building is covered by jerkin-headed roofs and now sheathed with narrow vinyl siding. Vertical bands of siding along with vinyl shingles have been used to approximate the detailed "stick"� and shingle work of the original wood siding beneath. Original two-over-two sash survive throughout the building as do the original wood panel doors and louvered shutters.

This building was built to the same plans as the Thomas T. Briggs house located at 35 Church Street.
